Spicy Kielbasa Soup
Ingredients

1⁄2 lb kielbasa, sliced

1 med onion

1 green bell pepper, chopped

1+ rib celery with leaves, thinly sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups chicken broth
-
1 can northern beans, drained
-
1 quart tomatoes
-
1+ zucchini, sliced
-
1+ carrot, shredded
-
1 Tbs dried parsley
-
1⁄4 tsp red pepper flakes, crushed

1⁄4 tsp pepper
Directions

In a nonstick skillet, cook kielbasa over medium heat until lightly browned.

Add the onion, green pepper and celery; cook and stir for 3 minutes.

Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer.

Transfer to a 5 quart slow cooker. Stir in the remaining ingredients.

Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours or until vegetables are tender.
