Scalloped Potatoes
Ingredients
- 3 Tbs butter
- 3 Tbs flour
- 1 tsp salt
- ⅛ pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 5 cups potatoes, thinly sliced
- ½ cup onion, chopped
Directions
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Melt the butter in a pant. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until smooth.
- Gradually add the milk, stirring. Bring to a boil.
- Continue stirring for 2 minutes until it thickens.
- Stir in the shredded cheese. Add the potatoes and onion.
- Pour it all into a 2 quart baker.
- Bake for 1 hour covered then 30 minutes uncovered.
