Buttermilk

Ingredients (1 cup)

  • 1 Tbs vinegar or lemon juice
  • ~1 cup milk

Directions

  1. Add the 1 tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice in a one cup measuring cup.
  2. Fill with milk to the 1 cup level.
  3. Stir and then let sit out for 5 to 10 minutes.

Notes

  • This is best if used right away
  • If adding vinegar use a clear vinegar: plain distilled vinegar, rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar.
