Buttermilk
Ingredients (1 cup)

1 Tbs vinegar or lemon juice

~1 cup milk
Directions

Add the 1 tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice in a one cup measuring cup.

Fill with milk to the 1 cup level.

Stir and then let sit out for 5 to 10 minutes.

This is best if used right away

If adding vinegar use a clear vinegar: plain distilled vinegar, rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar.
