Apple Chutney
Rich, complex, delicious. The flavor and texture are divine.
Ingredients (7 half-pints)

8 apples, pared, cored and chopped

½ cup onion chopped

1 bell pepper, chopped

¾ pound raisins

2 cups brown sugar

½ Tablespoons mustard seed

1 Tablespoon ground ginger

1 Tablespoon ground allspice

1 teaspoon canning salt
-
1 clove garlic, crushed

2 cups white vinegar
Directions

Combine all ingredients and simmer until thick, about 1-2 hours

Fill jars leaving ½" headspace.

Water bath for 10 minutes.
