Love blueberries, but never made jam. Wonder how it'll be.
Ingredients (6 half-pints)

7 cups blueberries

4 cups sugar

⅛ tsp salt

1½ tsp lemon zest

¼ cup lemon juice
Directions

Add half the washed blueberries to a stockpot and crush them with a potato masher.

Stir in the rest of the berries, the sugar, salt and zest. Cover and bring to a simmer or low boil, stirring frequently.

Uncover and cook for 25 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Test for gel stage on a plate in the freezer.

Pour jam into prepared canning jars, leaving ¼" headspace. Process in a water bath canner for 10 minutes.
