Time Traveler's Wife

Shh! Listen! Someone's coming! I think -- I think it might be us!
J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Let us begin by stating that we love this book and, although we will find issues with the time travelling in the story, this document is in no way a complaint. We also enjoyed the movie version, even with its fairly extensive revisions and exclusions.

SPOILER ALERT
If you have not read the book or seen the movie READ NO FURTHER.
If you have seen the movie but not read the book, you may wish to do so first as there are many characters and events in the book that do not appear in the movie.

We began this study as an attempt to determine what was happening to Henry in real-time at the moments he travelled back to visit Clare in the past. What was going on in his life, what was his relationship with Clare at that time.

In this process we were helped immensely by the work of You Know Jack. As comprehensive as his chronologies are they don't quite meet our needs (see Discussion for more details). We became determined to write a straight continuous timeline and place each event as it occurred. In this process we uncovered several issues which we will look at as we encounter them.
