Another deep winter treat. They taste almost as good as right off the trees.

Ingredients (14 quarts)
  • Half-bushel nectarines
  • Honey/sugar syrup, medium
  1. Wash nectarines in cold water.
  2. Slice in half or into wedges, discarding pits.
  3. Fill jars gently pressing down to get as much fruit in as possible.
  4. Cover in boiling syrup, ½" headspace. Remove air bubbles.
  5. Water bath 20 minutes.
