THe original title is Die Fetten Jahre Sind Vorbei which means Your Days of Plenty Are Numbered. This accurately describes what this movie is about. Jan (Daniel Brühl) and Peter (Stipe Erceg) break into the mansions of the very wealthy and carefully rearrange their furniture leaving messages like "You Have Too Much Money" or "Your Days of Plenty Are Numbered". They steal nothing, they destroy nothing, just a polite and chilling political message.

Once Peter's girlfriend, Jule (Julia Jentsch) finds out about these forays, she wants to participate. One night, she convinces Jan to break into the house of the wealthy man she is in debt to. However, while they are in the house, something unexpected happens.

This is a wonderful movie, both political, a drama, and a romance. It is quite well made and the three main actors are excellent. There are several unexpected twists to the plot that make this quite unique.
